Gotham Central. A Bat-Book hardly featuring Batman, and that’s exactly it’s greatest strength.
It focuses on the Gotham City Police Department’s Major Crime Unit, with Brubaker writing the Night Shift and Rucka writing the Day Shift.
It’s just a brilliant book, and DC has recently(-ish) started collecting them in shiny pretty hardcovers.
