I was going to do this as a poll, but embedding doesn’t work. Here’s the link instead.
Under the cut, some pictures.
World’s Finest #283
A while ago I ordered a bunch of comics from Comicasa, and they threw in this for free. First bad sign.
Second bad sign: ‘From the writer of TV’s Heroes’. I’m not big on Heroes.
First good sign: Denys Cowan. Like his art.
Third bad sign: Another new Joker origin?!
Batman Year 100 is one of the best Bat-Books ever. Because Paul Pope rocks. And it’s just a damn good story.
Taking place exactly 100 years after the first appearance of The Batman, it’s a futuristic, anarchistic take on Batman.
And it features panels like this:

McDuffie (Justice League) rooted in DC Comics’ popular canon of
“Crisis” stories.Bruce Timm (Superman Doomsday, Green Lantern) is executive producer.

(Superman/Batman: Public Enemies) are co-directors.In Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths, a “good” Lex Luthor arrives

his Earth from the Crime Syndicate, a gang of villainous characters

Order) as Lex Luthor, William Baldwin (Dirty Sexy Money) as Batman,

the Justice League arriving for battle along with the “good” Lex
Luthor.
Hopefully based loosely on Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely’s JLA Earth 2 graphic novel.
I loved JLU.
The Demon’s Quest Part 1.
Batman: Mad Love, which was of course adapted into the great Batman TAS episode of the same name.
I don’t quite know what to write about it, to be honest. It’s just an excellent Batman comic about the origin of Harley Quinn.
The HC comes with some great back up tales, of which my favourite is Two Of A Kind, a great Two Face tale.
So, yes, you should own this.
Batman Gotham Knight was last years direct to dvd prequel anime short thing to The Dark Knight, containing six shorts.
Let’s go.
So there we are. All in all, a nice little package.
