Detective Comics #472

For the bestest most excellent Batman action figure of all time.
I asked Twitter, and while I haven’t gotten too many responses, it’s been interesting to see who like what.
I’m just going to link to a few I like.
So, firs off:
So, those are just a few of the ones I really like. I basically went through Entertainment Earth‘s page, but I’m sure you have a favourite not listed there. Link me to yours in the comments, or my Twitter, Or you could even register on YMB and comment in this thread.
I’m not entirely convinced you have to own it, through. I mean, yes, it’s co-written by JH Williams III and Dan Curtis. And yes, the late and amazingly great Seth Fisher illustrated it, but did we need another look at Batman’s early days? Or Mr. Freeze’s origin?
That said, it is pretty cool, and while Seth Fisher’s art doesn’t reach the craziness it later did, it’s still solid.
Especially Old Wayne.

Amazon.fr has ABSOLUTE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS for €11,50. No, that’s not a typo.
I got my copy, sadly for about €60, which is still not full priced, a few weeks ago, it’s a very pretty book. Miller’s art is gorgeous oversized, and I’ve talked about DKR before.
EDIT: It’s up in price. €39,99 now.
