    Well, there’s the usual suspects. DARK KNIGHT RETURNS and YEAR ONE.
    THE LONG HALLOWEEN and DARK VICTORY, I also enjoyed HUSH.
    VENOM, the original miniseries that ran in Legends Of The Dark Knight, as aprequel to Knightfall. THE CULT, SON OF THE DEMON, & PREY.

    I would also recommend the first BATMAN/SPIDER-MAN crossover, by J.M. DeMatteis and Mark Bagely.

    Not actually a bat man comic, but he;s a major character, Superman-Red Son, also known as ‘soviet superman.’ Bat-Man is one bad ass motherfucker in that comic.
