I can’t even believe how much snow they are getting on the east coast.  My brother lives about an hour north of DC and he has three feet of snow piled up on the ground around his house.  He has a 40 acre horse farm, and the snow has never been piled up higher, and his pond is frozen over.  Says he has to dig his way out of the front door, I can’t even imagine living in weather like that.  And now I read today that they say it has been caused by global warming, not sure I understand that one at all.

Saw my first ever canpoy bed yesterday, and I couldnt believe how awesome these beds are. This was a king canopy bed, it had 4 massive spiraling post going up, with a beuatiful wooden canopy overhead. The frame was solid wood and was just huge, I cant even imagine how you move that thing into a room, anyway I put that on my list of things to get someday when i whin the lottery.

Awesome, brees and the saints were terrific, they aren’t the aints no mo. Somewhat ironic that the best qb in the league ended up giving the game away at the end, didnt even see it coming when he got picked, none the less manning was terrific, but the saints were just a little better today.

I am still battiling my cold, feeling about the same, but I am really looking forward to the game tomorrow.  My new next door neighbor invited me to his super bowl party, I will probably stop by for a while to chat, but I am feeling pretty low on energy and will just stay home to watch the game.  It will be a good battle between manning and brees, somehow I think 18 will come out one top, we will see!

I’m bummed out because somehow I got me a cold, bad heachache, sore throat, but the worst part of it is that I have a terrible soar throat.  I have been using this thing lately called a neti pot, its supposed to prevent colds and the like, but I am not sure if it is working!  It’s this little tea pot looking thing and add to it some salt and warm water, and rinse out your sinus cavity with it.  Sort of burns and feels like an ice cream headache the first few times you use it, but it you get used to it.  I will keep using it for a while and maybe it will shorten the duration of whatever I have now.

I have been watching gas prices now for quite a while.  Remember that they dropped down to about $1.50 in the Fall of 2008, and since that time they have steadily risen to about $2.75.  Prices seem to have gotten stuck here for about the last 6 months or so… which frustrating, not sure why they don’t go back down, since we are in a recession.  I guess all the tensions in the middle east, or the threats of escalations, is keeping prices high. Very frustrating!  Not much I can do about it, as I rely on gas everyday to drive.
